Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 before getting married in an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. In Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk is doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an enormous online following on social media.
